The practise of denturism in the province of Ontario is governed by a self-regulating College which in turn is directed by the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991, (RHPA). The responsibilities of the College of Denturists of Ontario (CDO) include ensuring that its members function within their scope of practice and do so at a level of competency, which assures the public access to a high quality service while being placed at no undue risk.
